"Music makes us feel so many emotions and experience different things through the eyes of others”

- Siana Gardner

Siâna Gardner is an experienced flautist and saxophonist based in West Bromwich, UK. She has a great passion for ensemble performance and has worked extensively in renowned musical theatre works such as Les Misérables, West Side Story and Sister Act. In addition, Siâna has also worked in jazz ensembles, performing Oye Como Va, Chestnuts Roasting on an open fire and Star Eyes, along with doing some improvisation work. She has also done some work as a soloist, performing pieces such as Moonlit Blue, Smoke gets in your Eyes and Maria from West Side Story.

Siâna is currently in her second year studying a BA (Hons) Music for Education and Community Practice degree at the University of Wolverhampton where she continues to develop and diversify her musical skills in arranging and orchestrating, composing, conducting and as a music teacher

As part of Siâna’s University degree, she is undertaking an ABRSM Level 4 Certificate for Music Educators (CME), which allows her to become an established, qualified peripatetic music teacher and prepare her for work in many different music education settings such as hubs, orchestras, schools and community music organisations. On the completion of her undergraduate degree in 2022, Siâna is currently considering a PGCE or a Masters in Music Therapy because she has always enjoyed working with children and young people and aspires to help them in her future career.

Siâna has A levels in both Music and Music Technology alongside Grade 5 Music Theory and Grade 6 Flute; she is currently working towards Grade 8. She holds a valid DBS on the update service, along with a Level 2 in Child Protection in Education from Educare.

Siâna enjoys reading, baking and in her spare time and has been inspired to take up the ukulele during 2020 due to having some spare time during the lockdown and, having always wanted to learn a harmony instrument so she can accompany herself and others, thought it would be the perfect opportunity.
